Meet the Author
Jennifer D. Bokal grew up in a family of readers and storytellers. A lover of the written word, she wrote her first book at eight years old. At the age of 12, she discovered what would become a lifelong passion when widowed grandmother—an avid reader—gave her a romance novel and said, “If I could find a man like the one in this book, I’d get married again.” Handing the paperback to Jennifer, she urged. “Read it.”
When she was done with her grandmother’s recommended read, she was hooked. But more than wanting to read romance novels, she wanted to write books that celebrated the power of hope, joy, and love.
As an adult, Jennifer turned her avocation for writing into a vocation. She attended Wilkes University and earned a Master of Arts in creative writing. Her first novel, The Gladiator’s Mistress, was published by Montlake Romance in 2015. Since then, she’s published over 20 works of romantic fiction, including the series: Rocky Mountain Justice, Wyoming Nights, and Texas Law. All published by Harlequin, Inc.
Happily married to her own alpha-male for more than 25 years, Jennifer lives in upstate New York. She and her husband are the proud parents of three grown daughters. As empty nesters, Jennifer and her manly husband enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends.
